Breakfast Meeting

As a departure from the "same ole', same ole", GEA held our opening meeting of the year at the Greeneville High School Cafe before the system opening In-Service at the NPAC.  We had a great breakfast and a nice meeting with wonderful attendance. When we have our meetings after the In-Service, we usually have a maximum of 20 members, but this format brought out at least 113 members.  President, Kim Rominger, reviewed the budget and the membership passed it.  Vice-President, Nancy Philbeck, explained the criteria for the Hal Henard Scholarship, then Kim and Dr. Don Henard gave the checks to Cameron Landers and Nathan Trimble. Special thanks to TEA for a $250 grant and to Green Bank and First Tennessee Bank for donations to help defray the cost of the breakfast.  Also, thanks to Mr. Ayers for the use of the cafe.  Check out the pictures below to see the meeting.
